The Talented Mr. Yarbrough
I have come to realize that I have yet to write very much about my husband on this blog. What can I say about him...oh yes. He's just about the most talented person that I know (makes me look like a total dud). I won't give you our whole history together. We have been married for 9 and a half years and it all started with a friendship and then what we like to call "his first date". Long story short, I didn't know it was a date until about 10 minutes before. The rest is history. We'll be together for the rest of this life. I could name all of the things that make him perfect for me, but it would probably bore you. Instead I'll share a couple of things about Tom that you could benefit from:
1.

Tom is an amazing singer, songwriter, and musician! Chances are that you would agree if you heard his music. I say this not because I am his wife, therefore completely biased, but rather because every person who hears Tom's music loves it. Lucky for you, you can listen for yourself. Take a little trip over to his My Space page and see what you think, Cool Water and Oh Your Love are a couple of my favorites. You can even hear yours truly singing background vocals on a couple of tracks. Tom has two releases, Far Cry From Gone and My Good Thing (the EP). Both can be downloaded from iTunes, where you can sample all of his wonderful songs. If you like the CD in hand you have two options...you can buy Far Cry From Gone through CD Baby or you can let me know that you'd like a CD and we'll get it to you. Think Christmas presents...
2. Speaking of Christmas, if you are looking for ideas and inspiration for gifts for the man in your life head on over to Tom's blog The Glengarry Sporting Club for the 2009 Guy Gift Guide. Trust me when I tell you that Tom knows mens' fashion and what is "cool" right now. (Don't kill me for saying that you know fashion, honey) But there's more than mens' apparel here, much more. You just might find the perfect thing!
That's all I will say about Tom right now. Time is a commodity and I have a few things to do to get ready for Little Brother's 1st Birthday celebration (more on that later).
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Whether you are celebrating Halloween or attending a Harvest Party, it's sure to be fun!

It's a good thing my husband wears a uniform to work. His version of male fashion includes denim and camo. Lord help me.
My hubby's fashion sense leaves a lot to be desired! Luckily, he plays guitar in a heavy metal band and works as a chef. Neither one of those have any call for fashion! LOL Love your blog s far, came over from MBC.

Wow! So super talented!!
It's kind of wierd when your husband knows more about fashion than you do. I go to him for advice!
WOW! Just checked out your hubby's music- he's got a great voice - I like the Cool Water song!
I love his "look" and the "we're on a date" realization - my hubby and I had that too! I love that we were and are friends first and foremost!
I love your husbands music! I think it would be a perfect Christmas gift for my own dear hubby (amateur guitar player, completely tone deaf, but I adore him:)
Found your blog from your comment on Inadvertent Farmer....and I will definitely be back!
Music is good! Thanks for sharing!
