Going, Going, Gone!
I did it. I really did it. I can't believe I did it! I have been thinking about this for a loooooong time. You see, my hair is not the same hair that I used to have. Pregnancy has changed it. It went from being straight and manageable to being a big pain in the tushie. It got thicker, much thicker. It also got much wavier, even curly, but only underneath. The top layers remained pretty much straight. Has this happened to anyone else? I know I'm not the only one. To cut or not to cut???
So I have been struggling with my vanity. It's so silly, I know. I know where my self worth comes from and it's not my hair. But still...no mother wants to look like she has given up and thrown in the towel when it comes to how she looks, right? Basically I wear my hair wet and in a ponytail every day. Haven't I pretty much thrown in the towel already? What if I regret it before I leave the salon? What if Big Sister hates it? What if the boys cry when they see me? On the other hand, how nice would it be to not have to deal with it every day? A wash and wear haircut? Who doesn't want one of those? Practicality won out. I made the appointment and this morning I took the plunge...

You should have seen the pile of hair on the floor! Wow! I'm glad I did it. Big Sister thinks it great and the boys didn't cry. I know Tom's okay with it because he fell in love with a short-haired me. And tomorrow morning after I wash it, I am going to be loving it! Sometimes change is good.

Very cute! Short hair is fun...
Wow it looks very cute...did you get a color too? I love it. I think short hair is super sassy and not everyone can pull it off. Great cut!
It's very cute! I went short last year and am regrowing mine. Sometimes short works, sometimes it doesn't. But yours looks great!
You look fantastic!!! I love short hair and used to wear mine like yours!

You look fabulous Jenny!
I'm so jealous! I want to! I LOVE it!
I'm so tired of my 10 month old pulling himself up on my hair. It lives in a ponytail.
I want to be all sassy and stylin' like that. You look gorgeous!!
I had the same thing happen--wierd curls in the back and straight on top. My straightening iron is my new best friend!
The cut is adorable=)
Thanks for stopping by today.
Jenny,
I love it, your hair looks great, it suited you face perfectly! I know all about the hair issues after babies, now mine did not change in texture, but I have pretty much always have had long hair, and what a pain it is, by the time I get the girls ready (primping)the curls, perfectly dressed, mom doesn't have time for moms hair, makeup etc.... So you go girl!!!! I love it, thank you so much for following and actually reading one of my blogs, thank you!!!

Oh you are so brave! You look gorgeous with your new short hair.
Very chic. I know exactly what you mean. You don't want to feel like you don't care about how you look but who has the time to do hair and make-up in the mornings! I really like the 'do'!
You look great! Happy holidays and I wish you the best for the New Year!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love to find Christian bloggers too! :)
Good for you w/ the haircut! I can relate! I freaked out when I decided to cut it for locks of love...12 inches! Did it once and I think that was it for me! But you look great!!! :)
I know I am behind but my google reader is super backed up! anyways I lOVE the haircut. i dream of getting a short hair cut however my head is way to big for that! yours is not so that is great
SO CUTE! I've gone back and forth about whether or not to cute my hair shorter. Always had the same ol' same ol' look and after baby #2 might have to try something new. :)
