10 Kid-Friendly Craft Supplies You Should Never Be Without.

If you have kids, chances are you have many of the following kid-friendly craft supplies somewhere around your house.  Last I checked we had eight out of ten.  How many do you have?

     1. Pom Poms.  How fun is this Groovy Beaded Pom Pom Curtain from Craftster?

2. Google Eyes. I will be making these this fall. From Martha Stewart, of course.

3. Pipe Cleaners. I'm sure we've all made something like these Pipe Cleaner Hearts, way back when.

4, 5, and 6. Popsicle Sticks, Toilet Paper Tubes, and Paper Towel Tubes. Abby needs one of these pencil holders for her desk in her room.

7 and 8. Brads and Scrapbook Paper.  I love what Lisa Leonard did with these... these pinwheels are so much fun!

9. Fabric Scraps.  This fabric portrait from Highlights Magazine puts your scraps to good use, plus this is just one of the cutest things I have ever seen!

10. Paper Plates. This Where The Wild Things Are Mask from Spins and Needles is just too cool!

How many of these "must have" supplies do you have?  I've got eight out of ten.  What would you add to this list?

"Like" The Southern Institute in Babble.com's Top 50 Craft Blogs poll.  I'd greatly appreciate it!   You can find us on the first or second page.

It is very good art you shared with us. I like the cartoon of man, it looks very funny and superb colour combination.

We have pom poms ALL over our house. My boys have decided that they are the perfect toy for pretty much anything. Their favorite thing to do is pretend they are people and put them in their little die-cast cars! No limbs to worry about and they're virtually indestructible... not to mention they're cheap too :)

Those are all must have craft supplies. Ribbon is also great for making kids crafts. My daughter and I are going to make a hair bow with this guide. http://factorydirectcraft.com/factorydirectcraft_blog/learn-hair-bows-loop-flower-hair-bow/ We also enjoy making jewelry with beads.
