12 Ways of Christmas: Wreath Round Up.

Hi everyone!  I'm so happy to be sharing in the 12 Ways to Christmas series!  I get to be the wreath lady today.  I've scoured the web and gathered some inspiration for your Christmas wreath making this season.  Are you ready?  Here goes!

First up is this beautiful wreath from Design Sponge.  If you aren't familiar with the Design Sponge website then I hope you'll go over and acquaint yourself.  It is a never ending source of inspiration.  This ruffley felt wreath is gorgeous and can be customized to be appropriate for any occasion.

Next up is the Holly Jolly Wreath from The Diary of Dave's Wife.  I love this take on the yarn wrapped wreath (which I have been seeing everywhere lately)!  This wreath is cheerful and festive and makes me think of candy canes and elves.  I love it!

Okay, I know this next one is not Christmas-y as is, but imagine it with shades of red and green, with a little bit of white thrown in.  I found this Pom Pom Wreath at bleubird.  Maybe you could replace the sweet little deer with a red bird or a snowman?  What do you think?  I absolutely love the pom poms.  They're just plain old fun!

I thought I'd include one of my own wreaths in this round up... it's the Lima Bean Wreath at The Southern Institute!  This is so much fun to make and turns out looking really cool when it's done.  Now that I'm looking at it again, it could use a bit of sprucing, it's a little plain.  All you need is a styrofoam wreath form, a bag of beans, a glue gun, and a can of spray paint.  Easy peasy!

I love this Ribbon Wreath from Enjoy It.  I like that it's flat...you just don't see too many flat wreaths around!  You could certainly make it round too.  The idea is the same.  If you wanted to add a fabric flower or two, you totally could, but it doesn't need it.  You could make it large, for your door, or tiny and hang one or several on the tree.  They'd make great gift decorations in the small size too.

Here are a few more variations of the yarn wreath...

Another fall wreath that could easily be made wintry with the change of bow color.

What about a light bulb wreath?  Totally bright and cheerful... perfect for Christmas!
