Creative Me Monday.

Well, hello everyone!  How was your weekend?  I have been trying to get the house back in order after returning from a week on the coast of South Carolina... pics to come later.  We had a wonderful week, but you know how it is.  We got back to a clean home only to dump all of our belongings on the living room floor, and within a few hours it looked like a cyclone had hit.

So no finished porjects for me this week.  I did, however, start a crocheted cowl about three times already, and may have to start it again.  I'm learning... lots of mistakes happening, but I'll get it.  When I do I'll show you how it turned out.

What have you all been up to?  I'm seeing a ton of Halloween decorations and recipes that are so much fun!  The linky parties are a neverending source of inspiration.  Speaking of...

This week's featured link (chosen by random.org) is from Sarah at Life On Walnut Street.  She has made her first necklace and it's so pretty.  Click over to see what she used to make it.

I love that quote!  So many times we miss out on something that we enjoy and are good at because we are afraid of failing.  Is it really fear of failing, or are we just afraid of looking foolish?  Maybe a little bit of both, I think.

Let's toss our fears aside this week and try something new!

I'm doing crochet... what will you try?

Okay, now it's your turn!  Just a few guidelines for linking up.  Please:
  1. Follow The Southern Institute and display the Creative Me Monday button somewhere in your post or on your blog.  The button html is at the top of the post.  Just copy and paste!
  2. Don't have anything new?  Show us something from your archives...old to you is new to us!
  3. You can link up as many things as you'd like, the more the better your chances of being the featured link next week!
  4. Visit at least two other blogs and leave some comment love.  We are a community that supports one another, right? Right!
  5. No shop links please.  You can link up a giveaway as long as it's attached to a project that you're linking up.

Don't forget to grab and proudly display the "featured" button if you're project has been in the featured spot on Creative Me Monday.

Have a great day, everyone!  I can't wait to see what you have been working on!
