Creative Me Monday and Gobble Gobble Cups.

Happy Monday, members of The Southern Institute community!  The countdown to Thanksgiving is on!  I got to put my creative hat on over the weekend... did you?  Luke is having a Thanksgiving lunch at school this week and I signed up to bring the Thanksgiving cups.  I wanted to make something fun, so I downloaded this template from Parents magazine, cut them out, and glued them to plain white paper cups.  The effect is super cute when you hold the cup up to your mouth and take a drink.

Let's make this week the greatest Creative Me Monday to date!  Last week was a lot of fun with 156 great projects linked up.  I hope you took the time to check out a few of your fellow crafters, sewers, and bakers.  This week's featured blog is Broken Treasures.  She linked up some really beautiful gift tags that she had made...

... and incase you are wondering, that is homemade vanilla extract!  Can you say "YUM"?  I would love a taste of that.

Okay, now it's your turn!  Just a few guidelines for linking up.  Please:
  1. Follow The Southern Institute and display the Creative Me Monday button somewhere in your post or on your blog.  The button html is at the top of the post.  Just copy and paste!
  2. Don't have anything new?  Show us something from your archives...old to you is new to us!
  3. You can link up as many things as you'd like, the more the better your chances of being the featured link next week!
  4. Visit at least two other blogs and leave some comment love.  We are a community that supports one another, right? Right!
  5. No shop links please.  You can link up a giveaway as long as it's attached to a project that you're linking up.
Don't forget to grab and proudly display the "featured" button if you're project has been in the featured spot on Creative Me Monday.

The Southern Intitute

Oh, one more thing... would any of you be interested in a handmade Christmas ornament exchange?  I've been thinking about having one, but only if you all would want to participate.  Leave me a comment with your email address if you'd like that.  If I get enough positive responses I'll put one together!

Do you like The Southern Institute? Why not "like" it over here? It only takes one click!  You'll find The Southern Institute in the Top 20.
