Fly a Kite with Angelina from Ruby Jean's!

It's another wonderful Thursday here at The Southern Institute and we have a guest!  Ruby Jean... first I was drawn in by the beautiful, whimscial photos and the bright and cheery colors.  Then I got to know the author of Ruby Jean.  Her name is Angelina, she is one of the sweetest people in blogland, and I'm so thankful to call her a friend.  This week while I have been feeling so crummy and trying to get to the bottom of it, Angelina has touched me by her faithfulness to pray for me, both day and night.  That's the kind of person that she is... if you don't know her, please go visit her blog and introduce yourself.

Today, Angelina is sharing a project that she made.  It is delightful and I know that you will love it!  Here she is...

Hello Southern Institute Readers My name is Angelina and you can find me blogging over at Ruby Jean's.
Sewing and Playing with Fabric has to be one of my Favorite things to do.
So when a New fabric line comes out as ADORABLE as this I can't help but buy it ALL up... Okay so maybe saying ALL is a a bit of a Stretch but it sure does seem like that when you total everything up... I do believe it is an Addiction but a HAPPY one to be sure...

Some of you may be familiar with Riley Blake Fabrics but if your not you CERTAINLY want to be... They carry some of the most Beautiful and Adorable fabrics.
Such as this line that I recently used called

There are So many fun coordinating fabrics in this particular fabric line that the possibilities are endless as to what you can make.

Using the Red Dot Fabric

I designed this Sweet.....

It has a Classic Peter Pan Collar trimmed with Ric Rac and Puffy Sleeves, bordered with coordinating Ric Rac trim on the top and bottom of the sleeve band.

The back was finished with an Invisible Zipper giving an Easy in and Out of this Little Penny Jumper.

To say that our daughter LOVES this Jumper would be an Understatement... She simply ADORES it because of it's comfort and Play ability.... Especially when it comes to Swinging on the Swings...

I will be sharing shortly about the Apron I made to go with the Little Penny Jumper... So be sure to stop by over at my Blog Ruby Jean's to check it out...

Thank you so much Jenny for having me here today on your Lovely blog...

Blessings
Angelina

Thank you so much, Angelina!  Your creativity always inspires me!

Have any of you used any of the Fly A Kite fabrics?  I have not, but after seeing this, I think a trip to the fabric store is in order!  Have a great afternoon!  And don't forget to link up your projects with the Creative Me link up this week!
